I remember my mindless choice
Every time I see your eyes
Now someone new is blessed with you
While you become mine to chase.
Chasing you endlessly without tire
Because I see what I lost
While you carelessly smile
I gently weep.
Wishing I could rewind the clock
To when I was young and immature
I didn't see what I had
Until it wasn't in sight.

But I know not to be heartless
